As spring break draws to a close in Lexington, kids and parents alike are getting a bit restless. Many hold out hope schools will reopen in May.
And as dogwoods prepare to blossom in front yards, we have to remind ourselves we live in a different world now, one without neighborly porch visits and children playing ball in the street.
On our daily photography drive through the city, Kurt and I are offered a blessing and a plastic bag of lemon-flavored KitKats. We had to turn down the KitKats.
