Kevin is a singer-songwriter who performs solo, in addition to playing keyboards in the British pop-rock cover band The Twiggenburys and in his band Dr. Kevin Holm-Hudson and the Adjuncts. He played keyboards for the Dark Side of the Moon Project. He is currently working on an ambient instrumental post-rock project with Jim Gleason and Scott Whiddon. He teaches Music Theory at the University of Kentucky and is the author of an undergraduate music theory textbook.
Kevin: “I’ll start with a quote: ‘Music is something that we do together.’ Where the pandemic really hurt is where we share music together—in a bar or another venue—but it has enabled us to share things through FB Live and Zoom. I played a socially distant concert for my neighborhood—from my back porch. What I miss most is playing for an in-person audience.
