Aardra

Aardra Kachroo is an award-winning scientist and Professor at the University of Kentucky Plant Pathology Department. She does a number of K-12 science outreach workshops in and around Lexington. She serves on the boards of two non-profits based in Lexington—International We Serve Foundation (weservefoundation.org) and Indian-American Relations Council (iarcouncil.org)). She is the Past President of the Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society.

Lexington in the Time of COVID-19 is an artwork about people practicing social distancing at a time of a deadly virus. And also offering kindness.
