Today protesters disrupted Governor Beshear as he announced 7 new COVID-19 deaths and 88 new cases in Kentucky. Angry at the state’s social distancing mandate, the protesters waved American flags and held up signs mocking the Governor. “There will always be people who object,” Beshear responded. “My job isn’t to make the popular decision, but the right decision.” Today Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky announced that it is now producing and donating half a million face shields for doctors and nurses across the country. Kentuckians everywhere continued to sew facemasks in order to help each other prevent the spread of the virus. Today, like yesterday and the day before, people also celebrated birthdays—though some of the gifts had to be virtual. #TogetherKY #TeamKentucky #HealthyatHome
