Today, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton presented her budget proposal for the city’s upcoming fiscal year. To make up for a predicted $40 million revenue shortfall, Gorton proposed major cuts from the affordable housing fund, a number of social service agencies, and LexArts, among others. Today, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear went over the 10 rules for #HealthyAtWork as the state slowly reopens. No common areas, continued social distancing, and limited face-to-face meetings are all on the list. So many things today feel hard and sad.
