Sarah Ryder teaches Art at Deep Springs Elementary.

Sarah never thought she’d end up teaching at Deep Springs Elementary for 23 years! She loved teaching art there, especially the sense of family that developed. Eventually, she was teaching the kids of former students.

Today is Sarah’s last day at work. Though she is only 55, she is retiring—something she and her husband had been planning for a while. They are looking forward to time together and what’s next!
