Both Emily and Echo perform with Ancient Warfare. Emily is the drummer for Bear Medicine and also performs solo as Emily Hagihara.

Echo: “It’s been a transitional period for us as before COVID-19, we had been planning on changing our environment. Now that we can’t play any more, Emily is focusing on learning the guitar … We’ve spent time writing new music too.”

Emily: “My focus has been more on being a student. I’ve been taking guitar lessons online because I now have the time. I’ve been learning a lot of information and also doing work around the house.”

Lexington in the Time of COVID-19 is an artwork about people practicing social distancing at a time of a deadly virus. And also offering kindness.
