John, Rocco, Avery, and Genia

It was Genia’s idea, but their neighbor who made the shirt for Rocco because Rocco works at Target. On the day we photographed them, Rocco had spent the morning counting people going into Target. The limit was no more than 50 people at a time.

Lexington in the Time of COVID-19 is an artwork about people practicing social distancing at a time of a deadly virus. And also offering kindness.
