Melissa and Megan are planning to get married in Pittsburgh on June 27. They chose this date to commemorate both the Supreme Court decision of June 26, 2015, which recognized same-sex marriage as a right nationwide, and the Stonewall Riots, which erupted on June 28, 1969 and ignited the modern fight for LGBTQ rights in the United States.
